Every Year I am in such anticipation waiting for the spring season to appear.
Seeing the change in the trees, the first flowers slowly budding and the Robins returning.
I am so very grateful to see spring arrive.
Living in the city we crave nature more and can't wait for the season to begin.
The equinoxes are historic markers of seasonal change. The March equinox, unofficially marking the spring season, is traditionally observed as a time of rebirth and renewal. For this reason, many cultures have celebrated the March equinox as the first day of the new year.
Spring begins with the fiery zodiac sign of Aries ( The Ram) and it's go-getting, assertive energy of change is present. It's actually a great opportunity to reflect and think about where are you going, set new intentions and affirmations.
The lengthening days bring energy, hope and optimism. What seemed impossible in the dark months of winter can seem possible now.
On 20 March, it's an opportunity to gather to celebrate the spring equinox, one of the eight festivals of the Wheel of the Year. For millennia, the spring equinox was celebrated across cultures as a time of fertility, creativity, and renewal.
